Shirley Van Nostrand:

Shirley has been selling Medicare insurance plans for more than 22 years, bringing a wealth of experience to Advantage Insurance Benefits. She enjoys working with her clients each year and looks forward to meeting new clients.
Shirley previously worked for PacifiCare, selling Secure Horizons, and for Puget Sound Health Partners, later known as SoundPath Health, as an outside sales associate. She loved the work but was frustrated that she could only offer her clients one company's plan when several other options were available.
To put an end to that frustration, Shirley became a self-employed insurance broker in September 2010. That change let her be full-service to her clients, showing them every plan their doctor accepts and making it easier to enroll in the plan that best fits their needs. She loves what she does and looks forward to growing the business.
Outside of work, Shirley is the proud mother of three sons and has five grandchildren.
