WHAT DOES IT COST?

• Your premium is based on your income. The standard Medicare Part B monthly premium in 2024 is $174.70. If your income is above $103,000 (single) or $206,000 (married couple), then your Medicare Part B premium will be a higher monthly premium. To see the income chart please click here.

• If you are not drawing Social Security, then you will be billed quarterly for your Part B premiums.

WHAT DOES IT COVER?

• Covers Medicare eligible physician services

• Outpatient hospital services and surgery

• Outpatient rehabilitative services (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, etc.)

• Durable medical equipment (Wheelchairs, CPAP Machines, etc.)

• Lab tests & X-rays

 

ADDITIONAL 2024 EXPENSES WHEN USING PART B:

• $240 annual deductible.

• 20 to 35% coinsurance on Medicare-covered outpatient services.

• 20 to 40% coinsurance on Medicare-covered Mental Health Services.
